We propose to develop new software packages in Bioconductor, a major free software collection for functional genomics data analysis, to bridge the gap between discovery-based screening and pathway-focused validation.
Our specific aims are to improve the support of Agilent microarray platform in Bioconductor; streamline the microarray data analysis pipeline from statistical testing to experimental validation; and demonstrate the utility of pathway-focused annotation in the MAQC-II study.
